Peter qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973 and has over 53 years experience of working in Bolton in a private practice environment. He founded the firm in 1982.

Peter is a former President of the Bolton Society of Chartered Accountants and of the Old Boltonians Association. He was made an Honorary Doctor of the University of Bolton in recognition of his services as Governor and Chair of the Audit Committee.

In 2023 Peter was recognised by the ICAEW for his 50 years of continuous membership of the Institute.

Peter oversees all aspects of his client’s accounting and tax affairs, is a registered auditor, and is one of only four members of the Association of Charity Independent Examiners in the North West.
