Adam J. Syddall
Position: Chartered Accountant
Adam qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014. He worked for the firm intermittently after graduating from The University of St. Andrews in 2002 and became a more permanent fixture in 2006. He has over 17 years experience of working in a private practice environment.
He is responsible for all aspects of client tax affairs, accounts finalisation and audit supervision and works closely with business owners to streamline accounting procedures, particularly in the increasingly digital climate.
Outside the office Adam is a keen cricketer. He spent three seasons in Sydney, Australia and has represented Cambridgeshire, Cheshire and currently Cumberland CCC in the Minor Counties Championship, winning titles in 2007 and 2013. An active playing member of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), he captained the club at Lord’s in its Bicentenary year 2014.
Adam is the Honorary Treasurer and a Trustee of the Phoenix Theatre Company, a PCC member and Trustee of Christ Church, Heaton, and a member of Bolton Deanery Synod. He acts as the independent examiner for a number of charities and community groups.
