Matthew is a member of the ICAEW. He has 19 years of experience working in a private practice environment having joined a Manchester firm after graduating from university. He joined the team at P B Syddall & Co in December 2020 and became a partner in May 2023.

Matthew is certified in a number of cloud accounting packages and is our expert in this field. He looks after all aspects of his clients’ accounting and tax affairs.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys nothing more than spending time with his young family, going for long walks with the dog, reading, listening to music and watching films. During the football season he can often be found watching non-league side Bamber Bridge FC.
